Do what u learn
We learn a lot of values, lessons, and quotes and get inspired by them, but I find myself not actually implementing what I learned at the right moment in real life. I might have learnt a thousands of good lines that lead to a good life, but implementing all those in a single day, having a perfect day, being the PERFECT GIRL, and attempting to follow all of them all the time is exhausting and unrealistic, just not possible. Sometimes the things we learn might contradict each other; one might encourage taking risks, while another warns you to stay cautious.
So, how to put these lessons into action is something to be thought about...
I can see there is only one Hack: Get used to a value and then add a new value. For instance, I learned that there are a lot of distractions around us and staying focused is crucial, so I decided that I don’t want to get distracted by the things around me.
All we have to do is keep reminding ourselves about the value or quote, get obsessed with it, make it your sentence and your line. Focus on avoiding distractions and remind yourself of this single value every moment. It takes up so much mental space initially, but eventually, it becomes second nature. I won’t have to consciously think about it anymore; I'll just naturally prioritize my work over distractions.
Once staying focused becomes a habit, I can move on to another such value. This way, I build a repertoire of positive habits without feeling overwhelmed. Small, consistent efforts lead to lasting changes.
The truth is, self-improvement is a marathon, not a sprint. Trying to be perfect all at once is unrealistic. Focus on one value at a time, embrace the grind, and celebrate your progress.
